Consider First Reading of an ordinance entitled: “An Ordinance to Provide for the Issuance and Sale of a Not Exceeding Six Million Dollar ($6,000,000) General Obligation
Bond of the City of Sumter, South Carolina, to Prescribe the Purposes for Which the Proceeds of Said Bond Shall be Expended, to Provide for the Payment of Said Bond, and
Other Matters Relating Thereto”.
Consider acceptance of Maintenance Guarantee/Deed of Dedication for Woodridge Subdivision, Phase 1 (Lots 1-15 on Decoy Court and Lots 16-20 on Whitetail Circle).
Receive comments from Council members concerning matters of interest to Council and the City of Sumter.
To review any pending legislation pertinent to local government.
Pursuant to SC Code Sec. 30-4-70(a)(2) for "discussion of negotiations incident to proposed contractual arrangements" relating to (a) acquisition of equipment by the Sumter Police Department, and (b) hazard mitigation grant program grant proceeds for property acquisition and demolition.
The public is hereby notifed that the City Council MAY TAKE OFFICIAL ACTION on these items following the close of the executive session.
