Receive presentation from Workforce Development Department of Santee-Lynches Regional Council of Governments.
Consider appointments expired December 31, 2017 and other vacancies.
Consider amendment to Council’s 2018 Calendar to change the time of the regular Council meetings on the first Tuesday of each month to 1:00 p.m. The 5:30 p.m. meeting time on the third Tuesday of each month would remain the same.
Receive comments from Council members concerning matters of interest to Council and the City of Sumter.
Receive comments or reports from City Manager
To review any pending legislation pertinent to local government
Receive comments from the Public. Please try to limit comments to three minutes or less.
Pursuant to SC Code Sec. 30-4-70(a)(2) to discuss "negotiations incident to proposed contractual arrangements" relating to stormwater improvements (Crosswell neighborhood) and water and sewer improvements (N. Main and Manning Avenue); and
Pursuant to SC Code Sec. 30-4-70(a)(2) to discuss "proposed sale or purchase of property" (W. Oakland).
The public is hereby notified that the Council may take official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
