Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of a request to rezone an approximate 0.99-acre parcel located at 835 South Harvin Street (Tax Map 250-09-07-024) from Residential-6 to General Commercial. 

Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of a request to amend relevant portions of Article 5, Section B (Specific Conditions and Standards for Conditional Uses and Special Exceptions); Article 5, Section C (Temporary Uses); and Article 10 (Definitions) of the City of Sumter Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance to make Food Trucks a temporary use subject to annual review, expand the districts in which mobile vendors may operate, and expand the types of vehicles permitted to be used as mobile vending units.

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2608 entitled:  “An Ordinance Authorizing the Execution, Delivery, and Performance of a Lease-Purchase Agreement and Other Documents Relating to the Lease Purchase Financing of Certain Vehicles and Equipment in an Aggregate Principal Amount of Not Exceeding $1,407,000, and Other Matters Relating Thereto”.

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to annex approximately 7.12 acres located on Old Field Road (Tax Map No. 187-00-02-018). 

Consider Resolution No. 740 authorizing a Mutual Aid Agreement between the Sumter Police Department and the City of Bishopville Police Department.

Consider Resolution No. 741 authorizing a contract for the West Hampton Avenue Water and Sewer Replacement Project (Salem Avenue to Purdy Street).
