Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of a request to rezone an approximate 0.30-acre parcel of property located at 702 North Main Street (Tax Map No. 229-13-01-036) from Residential-6 (R-6) to General Commercial (GC).
Consider appointments due to expire June 30, 2018 and other vacancies.
Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2609 rezoning an approximate 0.99-acre parcel located at 835 South Harvin Street (Tax Map 250-09-07-024) from Residential-6 to General Commercial.
Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2610 amending relevant portions of Article 5, Section B (Specific Conditions and Standards for Conditional Uses and Special Exceptions); Article 5, Section C (Temporary Uses); and Article 10 (Definitions) of the City of Sumter Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance to make Food Trucks a temporary use subject to annual review, expand the districts in which mobile vendors may operate, and expand the types of vehicles permitted to be used as mobile vending units.
