Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of a request to amend a Planned Unit Development Ordinance (PUD-98-01/PUD-99-11), specifically to allow for the development of detached single-family residential units on specified parcels in Hampshire Estates located on Alice Drive Extension (Tax Map Nos. 203-03-02-025, 203-03-02-026, 203-03-02-028, 203-03-02-029, 203-03-02-031, 203-03-02-033, 203-03-02-037).
Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of a request to rezone an approximate 5.09-acre parcel of land located at 755-775 Electric Drive (Tax Map No. 230-00-01-066) from Heavy Industrial (HI) to Light Industrial Warehousing (LI-W).
Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of a request to amend Article 3, Section J: Central Business District, Exhibit 3-5, and Article 10, Definitions of the City of Sumter Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance in order to define “Craft Beer Brewery” and establish the use as a permitted use in the Central Business District.
Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of a request to amend Article 3, Section F: Professional Office (PO) District, 3.f.2 and Exhibit 3-5 of the City of Sumter Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance to add Kidney Dialysis Centers with SIC Code 8092 as a permitted use in the Professional Office District.

Consider Resolution No. 763 designating the month of April 2019 as Fair Housing Month in the City of Sumter.
Consider acceptance of a Maintenance Guarantee/Deed of Dedication for Wood Ridge Subdivision, Phase 2 (Lots 21-40).
Consider First Reading of an ordinance entitled: “An Ordinance Providing for the Issuance and Sale of a City of Sumter, South Carolina Hospitality Fee Revenue Bond, Series 2019, in the Principal Amount of Not Exceeding $2,000,000; Amending the General Bond Ordinance Relating Thereto, and Other Matters Relating Thereto”.
Consider First Reading of an ordinance entitled: “An Ordinance Authorizing the Execution, Delivery, and Performance of a Lease-Purchase Agreement and Other Documents Relating to the Lease-Purchase Financing of Certain Vehicles and Equipment in an Aggregate Principal Amount of Not Exceeding $1,896,000, and Other Matters Relating Thereto”.
Consider Motion under Section 1.u.2 of the Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance to initiate amendments to the Zoning Ordinance as follows: (1) to Amend Article 3, Section J to regulate certain healthcare uses (including but not limited to psychiatric hospitals and nursing homes) in the Central Business District; and (2) to Amend Article 3, Sections C and D to regulate educational uses (including but not limited to secondary schools) in Residential-6 (R-6) and General Residential (GR) Zoning Districts
