Consider First Reading of an ordinance entitled: “An Ordinance Providing for the Issuance and Sale of a City of Sumter, South Carolina Hospitality Fee Revenue Bond, Series 2019, in the Principal Amount of Not Exceeding $2,000,000; Amending the General Bond Ordinance Relating Thereto, and Other Matters Relating Thereto”.
Consider First Reading of an ordinance entitled: “An Ordinance Authorizing the Execution, Delivery, and Performance of a Lease-Purchase Agreement and Other Documents Relating to the Lease-Purchase Financing of Certain Vehicles and Equipment in an Aggregate Principal Amount of Not Exceeding $1,896,000, and Other Matters Relating Thereto”.
Consider Motion under Section 1.u.2 of the Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance to initiate amendments to the Zoning Ordinance as follows: (1) to Amend Article 3, Section J to regulate certain healthcare uses (including but not limited to psychiatric hospitals and nursing homes) in the Central Business District; and (2) to Amend Article 3, Sections C and D to regulate educational uses (including but not limited to secondary schools) in Residential-6 (R-6) and General Residential (GR) Zoning Districts
