Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance to amend Article 3 of the City of Sumter Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance to include the applicant’s definition of “Family” and to remove Nursing and Personal Care, Adult Care/Adult Day Care, Individual and Family Care, Residential Care Facilities, Rooming and Boarding Houses, and Organizational Hotels and Lodging Facilities from the list of Conditional Uses in the Residential-6 (R-6) and Residential-9 (R-9) Districts.
Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance to adopt the 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
Consider appointments expired June 30, 2019 and other vacancies.
Receive comments from Council members concerning matters of interest to Council and the City of Sumter.
