Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance to revise PD-00-08 (Revision 24) by revising the building elevation design for Dollar General Store.  The property is located at 3510 Patriot Parkway and is represented by Tax Map Nos. 185-00-01-138 and 185-00-01-144.

RZ-21-11, 20 PACK ROAD

Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance to rezone approximately 25.8 acres of land located at 20 Pack Road (Tax Map No. 225-00-03-013, part of) from Agricultural Conservation (AC) to Residential-6 (R-6)

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No.  2743 annexing by 100 percent annexation petition an approximate 25.8-acre portion of a larger 43.09-acre tract of land located on Pack Road and identified by Sumter County Tax Map No. 225-00-03-013 (portion).

NEW BUSINESS

ANNEXATION- FIRST (ANN-21-03, 1330 WALCORA DRIVE)

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to annex by 100 percent petition one parcel of land totaling approximately 2.2 acres located at 1330 Walcora Drive (Tax Map No. 186-00-04-007).

PROCUREMENT RESOLUTION

Consider Resolution No. 823 authorizing the purchase of a new generator for Water Plant No. 5.

COUNCIL REPORTS

Receive comments from Council Members concerning matters of interest to Council and the City of Sumter.

CITY MANAGER’S UPDATE

Receive comments or reports from City Manager.

COMMENTS BY CITY CITIZENS

Citizens of the City desiring to speak must notify the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting by completing the sign-up sheet at the meeting room entrance. Comments are limited to no more than three (3) minutes.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

To review any pending legislation pertinent to local government.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

To discuss contractual matters, personnel matters including City Manager’s employment agreement, appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by the attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.

The public is hereby notified that if City Council holds an Executive Session, the Council may take official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
