BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS

Consider appointments expired June 30, 2021 and other vacancies.

OA-21-03, COUNTRY CLUBS AS CONDITIONAL USES IN R-15, R-9, R-6, AND GR RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2746 amending Article 3, Sections B, C and D of the City Zoning and Development Standards Ordinance to allow Country Clubs classified under SIC Code 7997 as a Conditional Use in the Residential-15 (R-15), Residential-9 (R-9), Residential-6 (R-6), and General Residential (GR) zoning districts, and to amend Article 10 to include a definition for Country Club.

MIDLANDS FATHERHOOD COALITION

Receive update on activities of the Midlands Fatherhood Coalition.

RESOLUTION (COVID-19 SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS)

Consider Resolution No. 828 recommending various safety precautions in accordance with guidelines or recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control, the S. C.  Department of Health and Environmental Control, and Executive Orders of the Governor.

Receive comments from Council Members concerning matters of interest to Council and the City of Sumter.

CITY MANAGER’S UPDATE

Receive comments or reports from City Manager.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

 To review any pending legislation pertinent to local government.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

To discuss contractual matters related to construction, possible appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by the attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.

The public is hereby notified that if City Council holds an Executive Session, the Council may take official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
