PD-00-06 (REV. 2), 2015 WEDGEFIELD ROAD

A request to revise an existing Planned Development (PD-00-06) to permit full-service car wash uses (SIC Code 7542) on specified parcels in accordance with a site-specific development plan.  The property is located at 2015 Wedgefield Road and is represented by Tax Map No. 206-03-01-011).

Consider appointments expired June 30, 2021 and other vacancies.

RZ-21-13, 933 SOUTH MAIN STREET

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to rezone approximately 3.01 acres of land located at 933 South Main Street (Tax Map No. 226-04-05-003) from General Residential (GR) to Professional Office (PO).

NEW BUSINESS

1.
RESOLUTION (GRANT PROGRAM)

Consider Resolution No. 829 establishing a pilot grant program for certain repairs of eligible owner-occupied mobile homes with funds from the City’s allocation under the Federal Government’s American Rescue Plan.

REIMBURSEMENT RESOLUTION

Consider Resolution No. 830 declaring the intent of the City of Sumter to reimburse itself for certain expenditures with the proceeds of tax-exempt obligations to be incurred by the City.

PROCUREMENT RESOLUTIONS

a)
Public Services Department

Consider Resolution No. 831 authorizing the purchase of one Multihog CX75 Vehicle with CITYVAC attachment.

b)
Fire Department

Consider Resolution No. 832 authorizing the purchase of one 2022 Pumper Truck.

COUNCIL REPORTS

Receive comments from Council Members concerning matters of interest to Council and the City of Sumter.

CITY MANAGER’S UPDATE

Receive comments or reports from City Manager.

COMMENTS BY CITY CITIZENS

Citizens of the City desiring to speak must notify the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting by completing the sign-up sheet at the meeting room entrance.  Comments are limited to no more than three (3) minutes.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

 To review any pending legislation pertinent to local government.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

To discuss contractual matters related to utilities development, appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by the attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.

The public is hereby notified that if City Council holds an Executive Session, the Council may take official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
