Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance to rezone an approximate 1.1-acre portion of a 3.65-acre parcel of land located at 1250 Landscape Lane (Tax Map No. 203-13-01-001) from Residential-15 (R-15) to General Commercial (GC).
Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance to rezone approximately 31.34 acres of land located at 685 Deschamps Road (Tax Map No. 184-00-01-001) from Agricultural Conservation (AC) to Residential-6 (R-6).
Receive comments from the public and consider First Reading of an ordinance to rezone an
approximate 9.11-acre tract of land located at 1250 Alice Drive (Tax Map No. 203-00-05-
004) from Planned Development (PD) to General Commercial (GC).
Consider appointments expired June 30, 2021 and other vacancies.
Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2748 annexing by 100 percent annexation petition
approximately 32.54 acres of land located at 685 Deschamps Road and identified by Sumter
County Tax Map No. 184-00-01-001.
Receive comments from Council Members concerning matters of interest to Council and the
City of Sumter.
Receive comments or reports from City Manager.
Citizens of the City desiring to speak must notify the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the
meeting by completing the sign-up sheet at the meeting room entrance. Comments are limited
to no more than three (3) minutes.
To review any pending legislation pertinent to local government.
To discuss possible contractual matters related to the American Rescue Plan, appointments to Boards and Commissions, and to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by the attorney-client privilege in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.
The public is hereby notified that if City Council holds an Executive Session, the Council may take official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
