BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS

Consider appointments due to expire on December 31, 2021, and other vacancies.

PD-04-15 (REV. 9), HUNTER’S CROSSING SUBDIVISION

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2756 revising the Hunter’s Crossing Planned Development located off Mason Road as follows: (1) increase the maximum total allowed residential units to 699 by adding duplex and townhouse units on the east side of Mason Road, in general accordance with conceptual plans submitted, and (2) add a new parcel to the Hunters Crossing Planned Development to be designated for commercial use. This revision is applicable to land east of Mason Road on property identified as Tax Map Nos. 202-00-01-032 and 202-00-01-009.

AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT (ARPA)

Continue discussion on proposed Resolution to authorize funding to Sumter United Ministries to assist with their “Tiny” Homeless Transitional Houses Project.

PROCUREMENT RESOLUTIONS

a)
Consider Resolution No. 851 authorizing a contract for the Second Avenue Sewer Line Replacement Project.

b)
Consider Resolution No. 852 authorizing a contract for the construction of two Support Facility Structures (Caretakers Building and Equipment/Maintenance/Storage Facility) for the Welcome Center at the Shaw-Sumter Farm located at 3470 Millgrove Lane.

BUSINESS LICENSE ORDINANCE

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to adopt a revised Business License Ordinance in accordance with the Business License Standardization Act (2020 Act No. 176).

COUNCIL REPORTS

Receive comments from Council Members concerning matters of interest to Council and the City of Sumter.

4.
CITY MANAGER’S UPDATE

Receive comments or reports from City Manager.

LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

To review any pending legislation pertinent to local government.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

To discuss contractual matters related to a construction project and law enforcement software, appointments to Boards and Commissions, and to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by the attorney-client privilege in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.
