Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2816 rezoning approximately 0.86 acres of land located at 33 Third Avenue (Tax Map No. 227-05-03-002) from Residential-6 (R-6) to General Residential (GR).
Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2817 rezoning four (4) separate parcels of land totaling approximately 3.81 acres and located at 494, 496, 498 and 500 Pinewood Road (Tax Map Nos. 206-00-05-011, 206-00-05-020, 206-00-05-026 and 206-13-01-001) from Planned Development (PD) to General Commercial (GC).
Consider Final Reading of Ordinance No. 2818 annexing (by 100 percent annexation petition) approximately 1.03 acres of land located at 971 Heather Lane (Tax Map No. 207-05-03-004).
Consider First Reading of an ordinance to annex (by 100 percent annexation petition) one parcel of land approximately 3.38 acres in size and located at 2560 Broad Street (Tax Map No. 203-08-01-011).
Consider First Reading of an ordinance to annex (by 100 percent annexation petition) two parcels of land totaling approximately 5.2 acres and located at 2581 and 2587 Broad Street (Tax Map No. 203-07-01-001 and 203-07-01-002).
Receive comments from Council Members concerning matters of interest to the Council and the City of Sumter.
Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager.
Citizens of the City desiring to speak must notify the City Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting by completing the sign-up sheet located at the meeting room entrance. Comments are limited to no more than three (3) minutes.
Discuss contractual matters related to construction of City projects. Receive legal advice relating to matters covered by attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.
The public is hereby notified that if City Council holds an Executive Session, the Council may take official action on the above-listed matters following the conclusion of the Executive Session.
