REZONING – FINAL READING RZ-23-24, 303 SOUTH MAIN STREET/6 EAST OAKLAND AVENUE AND 8 EAST OAKLAND AVENUE

Consider Final Reading of Ordinance Number 2839 rezoning three (3) parcels of land totaling approximately 2.03 acres from Light Industrial-Warehouse (LI-W) to Central Business District (CBD). The properties are located at 303 South Main Street, 6 East Oakland Avenue, and 8 East Oakland Avenue and identified by Tax Map Numbers 227-04-02-005, 227-04-02-002, and 227-04-02-004, respectively.

BUSINESS LICENSE ORDINANCE

Consider First Reading of an ordinance to amend the Business License Ordinance of the City of Sumter to update the Class Schedule as required by Act 176 of 2020.

PROCUREMENT RESOLUTIONS

(a)
Consider Resolution Number 922 authorizing the purchase of a NIBIN Cartridge Cases Analysis and Triage Package for the Sumter Police Department.

(b)
Consider Resolution Number 923 authorizing the purchase of a VisionX Advanced Comparison Microscope with Accessories for the Sumter Police Department.

COUNCIL REPORTS

Receive comments from Councilmembers concerning matters of interest to City Council and the City of Sumter.

CITY MANAGER’S REPORT

Receive comments and/or reports from the City Manager.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

To discuss contractual matters related to public services, appointments to Boards and Commissions, and/or to receive legal advice relating to matters covered by attorney-client privilege, if necessary, in accordance with Section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code of Laws.
